On October 16th 2012 the Deputy Governor of State Bank Mr. Kazi Abdul Mukhtair states that 1.45 million peoples using the smart card banking in Pakistan which depicts the change in E-banking dynamics of Pakistani Market he is addressing with the opening ceremony of "Easy Paisa Khushaal" account launched by Telenor and Tameer bank. Few Facts and figure of Telenor Easy Paisa and UBL OMNI:

• 1,447,381 Mobile accounts has been opened both in Easy Paisa and UBL OMNI
• More than 30 million Accounts worth is 115 billion in a single quarter (April-June 2012)

Mr. Mukhtair further expressed that this kind of innovation create the awareness among the people of saving funds and also increase the motivation about making their future more secure.
